Brewed using a combination of US and New Zealand hops, Mac’s Green Beret is a 5.4% IPA that features a late hop addition to the whirlpool and another dose of dry hop after fermentation for good measure to boost the floral, citrus and piney hop aroma and provide its distinct dry hop flavour. Green Beret boasts the highest IBU of the permanent Mac’s range, and definitely sits down the Savouring end of the flavour scale, but seasoned IPA lovers will find it an ap- proachable and moreish take on the style.
